Caper costs less than 1% of Amazon Go’s infrastructure, and it is already actively being used in the market. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement operations strategies, supply chain structure and deployment plans
  • Establish scalable tech deployment processes, and create operational support and maintenance structure for clients
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of managers across HR, finance, operations, supply chain and project departments
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and steer company strategies to meet metrics 
  • Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes
  • Spearhead budget planning and resource allocation across various departments
  • Oversee company’s spendings and financial health, and prepare quarterly financial reports with the finance team
  • Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, investors and all other professional business relationships
  • Recruit and mentor employees to build a world-class team
  • Participate in fundraising
 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role with 10+ years of experience in operational roles in a reputable technology company
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise
  • Have extensive experience working with deployment of new technologies in stores and establishing scalable operation processes
  • Experience with hardware and retail preferred
  • Deep understanding of business functions such as project management, HR, finance, business development, tech support, etc.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication and leadership abilities
