Pricing Desk (Sales) Assistant

Ascending is a manpower company in the Angolan and international market. One of our clientes, a global leader in international logistics services is looking for professional for the position of Princing Desk (Sales) Assistant.

Location: Luanda

Professional Requirements

  • Higher education level and a business administration qualification;
  • Operational industry experience;
  • Management experience.
  • Fluent in portuguese and English – written and oral.
  • Good numeracy skills required;
  • Sound working knowledge of financial metrics and reports;
  • Basic mathematical knowledge.
  • MS Office  skills and good knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)

  • People management and leadership (Coaching / Conflict Management / Performance Management);
  • Ability to manager cross-functional interfaces (Operations, PAO Air and Ocean and ISPs);

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Select, train, develop, motivate, manage and supervise a team of Marketing & Sales personnel, evaluate performance;
  • Achieve country targeted sales growth at a rate and profit margin consistent with the overall strategic business plan;
  • Maintain and constantly improve the company’s competitive position in the market place;
  • Formulate in collaboration with team, the proposed budget and business plan sales targets , objectives and activities;
  • Determine, review and evaluate performance vs. sales plan on a monthly basis (SME) to make changes and take required action if necessary;
  • Manage target accounts effectively through resource planning, allocation and management (GA/RA and SME);
  • Optimize sales expenses through efficient management of expenditure;
  • Ensure team’s compliance with Marketing & Sales processes;
  • Participate actively in regular reviews with major accounts (existing and potential) to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable business growth.
