A dynamic and rapidly growing food technology startup focused on revolutionizing the industry through innovative solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scientist specializing in Molecular Biology and Protein Engineering to join our pioneering team.
As a Senior Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our cutting-edge research and development efforts. You will be responsible for genetic engineering, plasmid design, developing protein quantification and detection assays (e.g., Western blot and ELISA), and advanced protein characterization using Mass Spectrometry. In addition, you will contribute to genetic editing techniques such as CRISPR and RNAi, and play a key role in strain optimization.

Responsibilities:
Genetic Engineering and Plasmid Design:
Design and construct genetic constructs for enhanced protein expression.
Optimize plasmid vectors for improved stability and efficiency.
Protein Quantification and Detection:
Develop and optimize protein quantification assays, including Western blot and ELISA.
Implement advanced protein characterization techniques utilizing Mass Spectrometry.
Genetic Editing and Strain Optimization:
Utilize CRISPR and RNAi technologies for genetic editing.
Lead efforts in strain optimization to enhance production efficiency.
Research and Development:
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in molecular biology, genetic engineering, and protein analysis.
Contribute innovative ideas to drive our technology platform forward.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
Extensive hands-on experience in genetic engineering, plasmid design, and molecular cloning techniques.
Proficiency in protein quantification and detection methods (Western blot, ELISA).
Experience with genetic editing tools such as CRISPR and RNAi.
Background in strain optimization for improved production yields.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
