Overview

 

As Pensando’s Cloud business grows across the globe, we are looking for a Technical Sales/Business Development Leader with a strong focus on Data Center Infrastructure and Networking, to join our team to cover France & Northern Europe

 

As a Cloud/Networking Specialist, you'll bring your knowledge and expertise of the market and industry, and focus on acquiring new customers, mainly across the Financial Services, Service Provider and High Tech Verticals, however we are open to your preferred vertical.

 

The ideal candidate possesses both a technical sales background and a strong Business Development and also Strategic Alliance's acumen, that enable them to drive an engagement at the CTO, CIO and senior level business makers across the business. They should be prepared to develop, be accountable for, and execute against a clear plan to consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

 

This position is an individual contributor position, where you will be supported by a Sales Engineer and a fantastic team spanning product marketing and lead generation to ensure you have all the tools and insights you need to sell Pensando across the France & Northern Europeregion.

 

Responsibilities Will Include

 

  • Develop your GTM strategy to sell Pensando and it’s Alliance Partners portfolio to customers across the France & Northern Europe Region
  • Effectively and independently deliver the Pensando company story, value proposition, and product demonstrations.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to drive revenue and market share in the assigned market
  • Direct prospecting into list of priority accounts
  • Develop and maintain account plans for the key, strategic opportunities
  • Work closely with Pensando’s Alliance partners in the region to plan and execute demand generation activities in the assigned market
  • Managing all aspects of the sales cycle including: prospecting, sales campaign/meetings, negotiation close, account management
  • Develop the EcoSystem in the region: Scale the Business with and through Alliance Partners and channels strategically
  • Accountable for driving business, and meeting or exceeding quota goals and MBO’s
  • Work closely with the the key stakeholders across the Pensando business including Client Services, Marketing, Product, Pre-Sales to ensure the regional efforts are aligned and executed.

 

 

What We're Looking For

 

  • Ideally 10+ years of technology (Cloud and Networking preferred) related sales or business development experience with senior leadership and C-level executives across Technology & Business Development, with a proven track record of success selling into the UK/I MESA region.
  • Experience selling Networking services is highly desired
  • Strong network of contacts across France & Northern Europe, both at end customers and partners/channels, in key verticals such as Financial Services and High-Tech
  • Fluent in English and French speaker and writer
  • A successful track record of selling a highly technical product to Enterprises and SP’s, Including large multi-divisional/multinational companies.
  • Ideally Direct Sales and Channel/Strategic Alliances experience
  • Be prepared to develop, be accountable for and execute against a clear plan to consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. Experience in developing, leading and executing growth of customers and teams is preferable.
  • Self starter who can demonstrate development, growth and expansion of a business area.
