Director of eCommerce Sales

Responsibilities of the Director of Operations:

·       Collaboration with agency marketing & business development

·       Target and prospect new opportunities

·       Experience with eCommerce platforms (ie. Magento, Workarea, Shopify Plus, etc.)

·       Understanding of sales processes

·       Proven track record of closing large deal sizes for eCommerce websites, Conversion Optimization, and Managed Services.

·       Sales cycle completion – from start to finish (closing the deal!)

·       Cross collaboration with other departments

·       Identify potential up-sell/cross-sell opportunities and communicate with sales, project manager, and eCommerce strategists new ideas/opportunities

·       Attend and network at key events & tradeshows

·       Prospect leads from LinkedIn, FB, Outbound Emails, Platform Partners, etc.

·       Hit or exceed sales quotas (quarterly & annual)

·       Update new leads and opportunities in the CRM, while maintaining and organizing

·       Working closely with prospective customers to understand needs, determine the right solution & set of services to recommend

·       High quality execution of project & services

·       Facilitate handoff process to the delivery team

·       Ownership of procedures and processes

·       Create new sales collateral while collaborating with agency marketing

 

Requirements:

·       3-5 years of direct sales experience within the professional services or ecommerce software arena

·       Bachelor’s degree

·       Proven track record of success in a previous sales position

·       Working knowledge of: Shopify, Magento, Workarea, Dynamic Yield, Optimizely

·       Experience using CRM's (i.e. Copper, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)

·       Requires familiarity or prior sales experience with eCommerce tools and Technology

·       Hunter mentality

·       Ability to work effectively in a collegial team environment
