Director of Marketing Services

Responsibilities of the Director of Marketing Services:

·       Manage client relationships

·       Develop client goals and market strategies for additional growth

·       Build & lead a team

·       Instill practices & lead by example (positive reinforcement & behavioral correction)

·       Deliver upon client expectations’ using the consultative approach

·       Ensure KPI’s and goals are being met by monitoring campaign performance

·       Analyze data to guide informed decision making that will yield sustained & measurable results

·       Overseeing multi-channel digital marketing strategies across clients and internal teams for the following marketing channels: Facebook Advertising, Instagram Advertising, Paid Search (Google Ads), and Email Marketing.

·       Improve quality of services consistently by implementing repeatable system with department leads

·       Effectively ensure and organize the completion of digital campaigns

·       Motivate team members

·       Provide forward-thinking digital strategies, ideas & challenges to the Marketing Services team beyond what has been previously used

·       Diplomatically address client concerns, while standing behind team decisions and strategies

·       Build department processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency in collaboration with operations

·       Partner with Leadership to set metrics & KPIs to reach financial goals and explore new business opportunities and strategies

·       Monitoring & measuring department billable utilization metrics and KPI’s for better improved hire forecast and overall department profitability



·       Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (a Master’s or advanced degree is a plus)

·       5-7+ years of hands-on experience running paid campaigns across a wide range of digital marketing channels, including but not limited to, search, social, email, display, video, native, retargeting, mobile

·       4-6 years experience at an agency (both client-side and digital agency experience desirable)

·       4-6 years ecommerce experience (Required)

·       3-4 years leading and mentoring a team

·       Google Ads certified (Required)

·       Google Analytics certified (Required)

·       Expert knowledge of marketing fundamentals & the digital landscape

·       Advanced skills in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets

·       Understand industry trends to be able to proactively get ahead of them for clients

·       Strong experience managing client relationships, preparing client-facing deliverables including presentations and monthly performance reports

·       Strong experience managing a digital marketing team

·       Understand and apply qualitative and quantitative research to develop strategies

·       Proven leader

    •  ability to listen, be tactful, & respectfully give & receive feedback

·       Project management experience & ability to quickly prioritize a dynamic and changing task list

·       Exceptional detail-oriented and analytical

·       Strong problem-solving skills

·       Curious and passionate about marketing services and how they help drive ecommerce

·       Excellent written and verbal communication and content creation skills


Ideally experiences with some of the following:

·       eCommerce

·       Enterprise Google Ad campaigns management

·       Klaviyo/Bronto/Dotmailer experience

·       Power BI or Tableau, Facebook Ad Manager, and Instagram Ad Manager

·       Go-Getter personality and willing to take extra responsibilities for overall satisfaction

Salary is commensurate with experience.
