Director of Lifecycle Marketing

We are seeking a DIRECTOR of LIFECYCLE MARKETING for our customers headquarters in San Francisco. This position will lead a critical and growing team whose focus is on nurturing and enriching the relationship with customers at crucial milestones in their personal journey.  They are looking for a Marketing Director who provides the complete package –

Specific tasks include but not limited to:

 

  • Deep dive into customer data across all channels and understand customer funnel and life cycle, in order to identify gaps & opportunities and positively influence the funnel
  • Collaborate with several cross-functional teams, to understand the data, socialize, educate and implement strategy & plan
  • Implement new enrichment & nurture campaigns to successfully increase user action at each stage and move them to the next: acquisition to conversion to repeat to retention to loyalty, affinity and advocacy.
  • Evaluate & potentially introduce new marketing technologies & systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Produce creative messaging strategy across the customer's lifecycle using data to understand customer motivation, intention and behavior
  • Grow, manage & mentor a high performing team
  • Establish a best-in-class lifecycle marketing program that can be replicated around the world and maintain a consistent level of high customer satisfaction

 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10-12 years in lifecycle marketing experience especially for a consumer product.
  • Ecommerce experience a must. Omni-channel or multi-channel business preferred.
  • Must have at least 5 years of management experience, with proven leadership to mentor and grow a smart and high-performing team.
  • Ideal experience in building a young, new lifecycle marketing team into a best-in-class function across multiple global markets
  • Creative & collaborative team player & leader who can work with multiple cross-functional stakeholder groups, influence decisions, work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Experience with ESPs a must
  • Experience with a CRM a plus
  • Communication and presentation skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker- who can think big, while knowing the small steps needed to realize their vision.
  • Comfort and enthusiasm to roll up their sleeves to get a job done, while also the maturity, confidence and ease to present to executive/senior leadership or mentor/direct a team member when needed.
  • BA/BS degree from a top-tier collegiate institution.  
  • MBA preferred.
