Seeking a diverse and multi-faceted candidate to join our evolving Content Department. In this role, the SEO Copywriter will be expected to have a proven track record in creating compelling content that translates to conversions, traffic and sales. Ideal applicants should have an advanced knowledge of SEO best practices and how to utilize SEO strategies to generate more traffic and increase brand awareness through blogs, website copy, and additional online content. You will be responsible for creating, editing, and implementing engaging content that continues to build upon the success of past practices, while also implementing new strategies to continue our growth. This role will provide a wide range of different copy, from daily blogs to new website content, all while utilizing SEO as a major component of strategy success. The desired candidate must be passionate, driven, and emotionally intelligent, while being able to balance multiple projects at once.
The SEO Copywriter will work closely with the Director of Content, and the overall Marketing Department, to develop and implement a SEO strategy to continue recent success gaining traffic, increasing brand awareness and converting to sales.
The SEO Copywriter will report directly to the Director of Content and is a full-time employee.
*Collaborate with departments including but not limited to: Content, Design, Social, Advertising, and Marketing.
*Develop content strategies to increase engagement.
*Utilize Google analytics to research current trends.
*Research trending topics for content creation.
*Build out future projects for implementation.
*Write and edit compelling content.
*Work with numerous writers, designers, and marketers to develop strategies that speak to our target audience.
*Use current tools and programs to better define target audience and potential customers.
*Implement strategies to grow engagements and impressions.
*Further develop content to better reflect current SEO strategies.
*Use SEO tools to record, collect, and interpret analytical data.
*Navigate competitor trends and research to better prepare for upcoming content and customer engagement.
*Be on the forefront of all things digital and SEO in terms of health and the wellness industry.
*A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations
*Excellent communication, SEO, and marketing skills.
*Ability to analyze metrics for measuring effectiveness/impact of our content strategy and tactics.
*Proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
*Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
*Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
*Ability to use analytical tools to build better content, marketing, and advertising strategies.
*A knowledge of up-to-date programs and tools to help improve sales as a direct result of marketing and advertising.
