Seeking a diverse and multi-faceted candidate to join our evolving Marketing Department. In this role, the Influencer/Social Media Specialist will be expected to have a track record in planning and delivering campaigns with creators and influencers across paid, earned and shared media. Ideal applicants should have an advanced knowledge of social media trends and technology and how digital/social media fit within the communications mix as well as a thorough understanding of how to design, execute, amplify and measure influencer campaigns and content. You will be responsible for managing, identifying and nurturing new client relationships, and ensuring that the team is implementing programs that are highly effective and creative with measurable outcomes. This role will give our clients counsel and help them understand and capitalize on the opportunity to build relationships, strengthen brand loyalty, and determine the best influencer marketing strategy based on metrics and for their particular brand. The desired candidate must be passionate, driven and emotionally intelligent.
The Influencer/Social Media Specialist will work closely with the Social Media Director, Director of Engagement and the Chief Marketing Officer to develop and implement a strategic influencer and social media marketing plan to promote brand recognition and elevate profile.
The Influencer/Social Media Specialist will report directly to the Social Media Director and is a full-time employee.
*Plan and deliver influencer campaigns including paid amplification and measurement strategy across all main platforms.
*Identify, negotiate and manage influencer network and talent across multiple channels
*You will be expected to collaborate across all teams and update team members on industry outcomes
*Facilitate development of strategic influencer-related activities for our clients
*Understand the path to purchase through influencer campaign, and techniques to track and assess performance
*Assist Social Media Manager in executing social media post, infrastructure, and analytics.
*Become a social media advocate, engaging in dialogues and working with Customer Service in answering questions where appropriate
*Present confidently and with authority to external audiences in order to educate, engage and entice – winning trust and business.
*Promote the value and importance of client feedback and review with team and develop a client-focused culture.
*Manage post campaign evaluation, highlighting strengths and identifying opportunities to improve future campaigns
*Clearly understand ROI and measurement tools surrounding influencers (both to identify and evaluate)
*Proactively identify and drive opportunities to grow and expand our *Influencer Relations work
*Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives.
*A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations
*At least 2 years of delivering work across multiple social media channels, within a media buying, advertising, communications, marketing, or a public relations environment.
*Experience working with but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube and Instagram.
*Experience managing influencer programming
*Must have creative writing/original thinking abilities and able to write impactful content that resonate with each platform's target audience.
*Must be computer literate, preferably in a Windows environment with familiarity with Web products and social media dashboards (i.e. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc)
*Deep understanding of paid social targeting, execution, and measurement
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill, synthesize and draw conclusions from multiple data points a knowledge and a passion for the influencer universe on all social channels including Instagram and Facebook
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
*Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
*Ability to stay organized, flexible and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
