About the Business Development Manager position
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying and closing new business in the North American territory as well as developing and executing new strategies for growing the business across the payor/medicare advantage vertical. Your success in this role will be defined by new customer acquisitions and expansion of our business into relevant markets.
The ideal candidate for this role is be experienced in the Health Systems/Medicare Advantage customer segment and have a record of success as a ‘trusted advisor’ in a consultative sales model. You partner effectively with internal resources from compliance, marketing, and operations to perfect our offerings and have a structured approach to your work.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service.
